Normally I wouldn’t do a new releases post but have you see the lineup for today? Holy Book Bindings!
Just the things yours truly had preordered:
Queen of Shadows by Sarah J Maas
I am currently on the fence with thus popular author, I haven’t reread the books since the first came up but I adore the covers.
Dragon Heart by Cecila Holland
This author is known for her historical work but this Fantasy book looks amazing, I preordered as soon as I read the summary.
Hunter by Mercedes Lackey
Everyone is doing Dystopia these days and my general feeling on that trend is a big emphatic sigh, but Mercedes Lackey is a loved author so I’ll give it a shot.
Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
I’ve seen nothing but great reviews on this and it’s cover sold me. I normally don’t like contemporaries, especially ‘sick lit’ but I’m picking this one up.
Everything else I wish I’d preordered:
A Rose-Red Chain by Seanan McGuire
Have I mentioned my love for Seanan yet? No? Well the only thing stopping me from the preorder on this lovely is I have yet to finish the rest of the Toby books. #shame
Sorcerer to the Crown by Zen Cho
I want this with a burning passion but am going to wait till I’ve finished at least one or two of the others that I have already preordered. Buzz words : Magicians. Gets me everytime.
The Drafter by Kim Harrison
I am a long time fan of Kim’s and still working my way through The Hollows but this new start to a series will definitely be showing up on the blog soon.
Updraft by Fran Wilde
This is one that I could have sworn I preordered, we’ll have to see what shows up. The idea behind this with a city of living bone sounds amazing, and it’s a debut! Sold to the lady with absolutely zero self control.
Twelve Kings of Sharakhai by Bradley P. Beaulieu
I have the first trilogy by Mr. Beaulieu on my kindle and plan on picking this up to match. A strong lady out for revenge is a winner any day with me.
THIS IS JUST SEPTEMBER 1ST.
There are even more coming later in the month, I cannot deal with this many new releases.
