A Reading Journal
This was a good bunch. I hit a slumpy period but came out guns blazing or pages flying if you would. The Madness Underneath (Shades of London #2) by Maureen Johnson ☆☆☆☆☆  Oh My Glob. I still can't react to the ending of this book. I simply cannot - I don't... I don't know.... Continue Reading →
Yay! Some more mini-reviews! I didn't have a lot to post for last week, it's been a slumpy bit of weeks but I've got a few reviews stockpiled for this so here we go!   The Case Against Satan by Ray Russell ☆☆☆☆   This cover is creepy as shit. I don't even remember what... Continue Reading →
Volume six is going to be a little lackluster I feel. For that, I'm sorry. *shame* Last week was... a blur? I don't remember much of it honestly. But here is what my Goodreads tells me I read! I'm just going to start doing these weekly. You'll get the reviews of my books read the past week. A weekly wrap-up! This was another small week for me, so only a couple books.  Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning ☆☆☆☆ This surprised me! It was by no means a perfect first book - heavy... Continue Reading →
Here is a batch of my most recent reads and the mini-reviews I've posted to Goodreads! Iron Night by M. L. Brennan Generation V Book 2 ☆☆☆☆    This is an excellent series so far, and this book suffers from none of the typical second book syndrome (though it may help that it's been awhile... So I recently finished the novella of The Turn of the Screw. My IRL book club chose Horror as our genre pick for this quarter. I enjoy horror from time to time but I have never actually sat down and read more than one or two horror books at a time. The idea of scaring... Continue Reading →
