This are most definitely not in any particular order.
5) Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
October 20th
I know little to nothing about this one except that it has to do with aliens and I really like both authors behind it. I’ve seen video as well of the Arc copies and they are absolutely lovely, I hope the finished edition is as great!
4) Truthwitch by Susan Denard
January 5th
This is another one I don’t know much about. The cover is absolutely stunning, and the little bit of premise I caught sounded great. I’m a fan of witches in general thanks to a lot of Andre Norton as a child. More particularly, witches in a fantasy setting. Bring it on.
3) The School for Good and Evil #3: The Last Ever After
July 21st
I loved the first book in this series and put off the second one on purpose to be closer to the release of this one. I am so stoked! Check out the trailer!!
2)The Drafter by Kim Harrison
September 1st
I am still a little over half way through her first series but I can’t wait to start a new one with her. I love her style and inventiveness. Bring it on!
1) The Long way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers
August 13th
I originally heard about this on Youtube from The Android’s Conundrum when I believe it was still an independently published book. A traditional publishing house picked it up and now I have to wait on it in hardback. It seems like a great sci-fi story with unique characters, I can’t wait.
Top 5 Wednesday is as always created by GingerReadsLainey.
All of these sound super interesting! And the covers are gorgeous.
