So. This is not a book for everyone. Just going to open this post off with that. This is simultaneously a (at times) deeply drawn fantasy novel and a very graphic romance novel. Think Conan the Barbarian meets romance, in a setting with dinosaurs and more magic. And there were zombies at one point. It was absolutely bananas.
